Wow Oil look done. Bob is in their heads. Don't think Home Ice in Alberta really matters. Cats will take 1 game there and then close em out in Sunrise. Faves are just killing it this SCP. And I am now back into the RED...

Of more concern to the Oilers is the fact Barkov may not play. If he's out for game 3 , the Oilers are going to get hit, really hard, and often. If you think the Oilers are in deep trouble now, They will be much worse off if this series gets physical.
yes, we all know this is concussion issue. Interesting discussion on NHL radio today. Should Draisaitl be suspended? He did leave his feet and delivered an elbow. Let me clarify by saying what Bennett did to the Rat was questionable and probably needed further investigation. Most said Draisaitl should get a game. Just as you have to control your stick, you have to control your elbow to the head. The other side said NHL would not suspend one of the stars in the Cup finals. Nothing out of the NHL office today so I don't look for anything.

Yes, agree that Leon should miss at least one game, but burley is correct - he is a star, and not good look for Gary's product having star player miss. Either way, Oil are cooked. I think I might be done betting this series, and let me last 3 futures play out. I think Oil sneak one out, but not sure which one.
Maybe tonight is that elusive Over we have all been chasing...???

Suspension of a game is the right thing I agree. I also think when Bouchard gets choked by Ekblad that is also a game. Both were not hockey plays. Leon clearly leaves his feet no doubt about that.

On more serious note, not sure what bias you think I may have, but my opinion on this is based on the rule and how it has been applied in the past. Main contact is with the head, and it was avoidable - specifically he extends his elbow into Barkov's jaw. If he had just came thru with his shoulder and kept his elbow to his body, then I would agree no suspension. Go re-watch Zadorov hit that cost him 2 games back in Feb. Literally the same hit just in open ice.
Personally I'm kinda glad he is not suspended. It is going to fun watching the Panthers try to target him for big hits (and likely land a couple), and might actually help Oil get back in to this series with an extra PP or two.

Agree right now. They might steal 2. Oilers have gone 2-1 at home every playoff series. They lost their first home game in both the Dallas and Vancouver series. In both of those series they stole one on the road and returned home 1-1. They are down 0-2 and desperation is in play. I think they faced a desperate spot down 2-1 games against Dallas at home and won game 4 5-2. It was an obvious desperate spot down 3-2 against Vancouver at home and won game 6 5-1. Oilers have been a little zig zaggy this post season. Almost all the Vancouver series was. They were great winning at Dallas game 5 but got outplayed game 6 but still won. I think they played good enough to win game 1 but did not look that great game 2. I like their spot game 3. What I don't like is Florida has won each of their first road games in playoffs and they are.....well, Florida

Barkov is likely playing, he took the morning skate today before departing for Edmonton.. Not sure what to expect from Edmonton game 3, but I still like Florida in this spot. Bob is standing on his head and outplaying Skinner by a country mile. Edmonton scored 1 goal in the series so far and their Power play looks pretty ordinary at this point in time. Edmonton has hit a few posts in the series and definitely had a shot to win game 1, but Florida is looking better with each passing period.. The reality is, the Oilers are down 2-0 in this series and there is absolutely no quit in Florida. Florida is on a mission this season and have the experience needed to put teams away in tight playoff games. They are physically manhandling the Oilers and you can see the frustration rising from the targeted Oilers with each passing game. There will be consequences for the hit on Barkov and Florida will be focused on inflicting more pain on an already wounded group of players... Oilers can expect more of the same that they experienced in Florida. The Oilers look physically outmatched on the defensive side of the ice, and their opponents are not easy to diffuse when the pressure is on.

No side bet here. GTMH I'd side with Oil ML. Leaning Under, but not strong. Oil should produce some goals tonight, it's now or never. Looking at props.
