0-1 last night.  Ice fucking cold last 7 days.  Too bad it can't counter this little heat wave we are getting here in the Northeastern US.

And we go to Game 6.  Looks like Game 7 is in the cards.  Oil are on fire right now, and Bob is lost.  My dog told me that she thinks the Oil win here, because of all the revenue that could be generated for South Florida in a Game 7.  I told my pupper I already predicted that here on Covers, and gave her a nice li'l scritch-scratch on the head and a treat for being so smart. 

All I can think of is this quote from one of the greatest sports movies of all time...  "Let me tell you, a double-fault final-play elimination hasn't occurred since the Helsinki episode of 1919, and I think we all remember how THAT turned out!"

I don't know who's going to win tonight but I do think Florida's defense and special teams return with renewed vigor, and their physicality as well. Edmonton better lace em up good, this should be the most competitive game from start to finish of the series. 3-2 one way or the other. As I have a future on Florida, go Panthers!

I think most of us thought the Panthers defense and special teams would return for game five with renewed vigor and physicality, after the 8-1 ass-whipping they got in game four. However we all know the result of game five. As for renewed physicality on the part of the Panthers tonight, they had better stay clear of the penalty box. They've taken 11 penalties in the past two games and the Oilers powerplay has certainly come to life.

Agree with Filly on Game 5.  I lost over 3 units of FLA in that one, cuz I thought same thing.

I think FLA just had a fat head heading into Game 4 like Oil were just gonna lay down, and Oil did not.  Then in Sunrise, we all expected a spirited effort from them (FLA) and they got punched in the mouth 3-0.  McDavid is almost unstoppable right now, and I think that bodes well for the Oil.

To be fair, Oil had little pressure in those games (4&5), as being down 3-0 to the defending EC Champs, no one expected them to win maybe more than one game.  Now there's hope, and pressure, but I would still lean Oil at home.  Just feels like this has to go 7 games, as there is no doubt a Game 7 SC Final is a helluva way to attract casual fans.  Whether that is thru Referee shenanigans or not, dunno, but sure would be good for the Brand.

McDavid has heated up and if he stays hot and they can get something out of 29 there other big star this goes 7 like you stated. They have won the last two games and 29 still has done nothing. Will he awake tonight we will see. Great analysis as always dyamarik.

I know many will disagree and that's ok but even with a 3-1 lead AND you're at home, you can get sloppy, you still know you have room to play with even if you lose and Edmonton was just the opposite, like a lion who hadn't been fed other than a little appetizer game 4. It's very real now for Florida "Oh shit" we let em back in. It's game 1 mentality all over, gotta take care of business. Tonight's a crap shoot, that puck can do crazy things on the ice, one little break could and IMO will be the difference tonight. Again, should be the best game of the series and maybe worth a couple pennies on OT. I can't wait, gonna grab me some cold beer on the way home and enjoy a really good game, maybe give Kuch or Stamkos a call to come over ...ok kidding but wouldn't that be cool! Ha!

Strong Leans Oil and Over, but not sure I am gonna bet b4 game.  Maybe something Live.  I got FLA 2 units to win series, so might just let that ride.  Let's see what some of the others on here are playing tonight. 

Thinking Florida controls puck tonight to close it out with a win and the under. Who knows! Looking forward to it! 

Riding with the Cats tonight to close it out. I know it is against all mentality as "Oil has all the momentum" but this Florida team didn't come this far to falter. I could be wrong but my money will ride with them and if I lose, I will tip my cap to BenHogan, Eprince and all the Oiler boys. Let's see what happens....and btw, I thought CV last night as well but didn't take it...think they take the next one though.
