My take on Pit/Phi...$$$

Question

I believe that the Penguins want to play Ottawa, not Philly in the first round. Playing Philly in the first round would probably mean the Pens advance but they will get physically raped throughout the series, hindering their chances later. Ottawa may not even be harder to beat in they shape they are in, especially with them probably starting Emery a few times.

Philly on the other hand certainly wants to win and play Washington, rather than lose and play Pittsburgh where their chances would be much worse.

We get Philly + money, its a great deal, and I'm hitting it

P.S. I ALWAYS play Pittsburgh and OVER when these teams meet but I will go 2-0 with Philly and UNDER 6. Pens don't want to win, they wont score more than 1 goal, UNDER.

Pit is playing alot of their big boys today. Phil may be the smart play, but dont be surprise to see Pitt come out and score a couple early goals.

Pittsburgh has a chance to get the overall #1 seed in the east.  No chance in hell they are thinking about losing this game to get a better opponent in the playoffs.  I think Pittsburgh at full strength is the most talented team in the league.  They want this game just as bad as Philly does.  It&#x27;s going to be a great game reminicent of last week.  Good luck with your play, I think Pitt wins it 3-2

Philly is probably the worst or 2nd worst match-up in the league for the Pens to play... sure they will probably win but don&#x27;t forget how much better Philly has looked with Briere feeling better and their offense starting to gel as they get healthier.  But mainly the Pens don&#x27;t want to leave the first round with a bunch of battered bodies and injuries and having to drop their gloves 4 times a game every night.PHILLY

***worst or 2nd worst matchup in the EAST, not league...my bad. If we were talking league matchups for some reason Philly might be more like 7th lol... so much trouble in the West I'm glad the guinnies are in the east
