Way too much shit to look at today. Crazy stuff. DET TT o2.0 goals @-125? Huh? Caps almost dogs? Leafs home dogs again? I think I'm going to give up Tues/Thurs/Sat NHL and I say that having looked at the games for a couple of days. Some of these lines. Jeez!
DET ml +220 It's hard to understand this line. There is just no way the Wings should be +220 dogs. By the way, you can get DET over 2 goals for -125. That's almost insulting.
FLA are 2-4 in their last 6 home games and this is 4 games in 6 nights for FLA. DET lost that game the other night to SJ, but it happens, and it happens quite often in that spot (last game of a home stand staring at a contested roadie). The good news is they have McLellan now and he knows how to handle the situation. I have to believe the Wings will come out storming tonight. Talbot is 8-5-1 with a 2.64 (lifetime) vs. the Panthers.
Maple Leafs ml +110 It's probably time to come back to reality. TOR got knocked back on their heels by VAN after playing 6 games in 10 days. DAL came in and they just didn't seem ready. I just think the leafs get it back together tonight heading in to the weekend. NJD have picked up a couple points lately, but it's been so-so hockey. I don't think there's a Sheldon Keefe factor to this game, btw.
Rangers ml -115 NYR seems to have turned the tide on their season. Can they save it? I don't know, but if they hit the board here then they got 5 out of a possible 6 points on the western road trip. It's also possible (I said possible) that they leap-frog from 3 teams with a win tonight. I thought this was a good deal for a team with points in 5 straight.
Stars pl +125 DAL comes home after that impressive road trip and I think the faces will be happy to see them. They'll have the raucous building tonight and I just don't think MTL are gonna find much success down the middle in this one, either.
SEA +1.5 w/ over 4.5 These two are quite competitive against one another. 7 of the last 8 have been one goal games and SEA comes in with a couple wins in the their past 3 games. WIN is just sitting there on this 7-game home stand without much to get excited about at the moment. It just seems like a good spot for the Kraken to come in and be competitive (again).
Good luck everyone!
