NHL Biorhythms

So I've done some research into this and thought it was quite intriguing.. I've seen HappyKane post a lot in the MLB forum.. He posts biorhythms based on players birthdates and gives the players a rating for each day.. This includes A) Physical B) Emotional C) Intellectual

Now I know what some people think - it's not true.. Well you could be wrong.. I've seen a lot of things happen.. Though a good rating does not mean they will perform good ALWAYS.. But I've done some testing and some of it actually works..

I've made up a spreadsheet that tracks rhythms.. I've calculated all three rhythms into one number.. This number is between 100% and -100% and 0 being the middle.. This is a number I've formulated from all three rhythms..

Again, this isn't all necesarily true and I don't always believe it to be.. But I definitely think that some of it is true..

I'm a big Canucks fan and last game I told my buddy 'keep an eye on Bieksa..' Sure enough he has a great game.. I also said that the Sedins would have a breakout game.. And they did.. So ya you just never know..

Here are the spreadsheets for the Canucks and Sharks.. Have a look, keep an eye out.. I'm still testing and PLEASE do not go off this and PLEASE do not tell me I'm wrong if someone has a good game and a bad rating..! Also remember that everyone has a different skill set, more playing time, etc.. Therefore don't go off a 4th liner or a backup goalie.. Infact like I said don't go off anything! This is purely testing!! Cheers!

PS - I've colored the sections where players are HOT and COLD.. In order from Hottest to Coldest it is - YELLOW, RED, ORANGE, LIGHT BLUE, TEAL, DARK BLUE..

Yellow being a player where he is at his best..

Dark Blue being at his worst..

To be honest I'm not sure it uses either.. It uses date of birth and uses three cycles: a 23-day "physical" cycle, a 28-day "emotional" cycle, and a 33-day "intellectual" cycle.. Not sure what that's called.. (PS - I copy/pasted that from Wiki! lol)

Game #2 Predictions (using the charts)

- Look for Bieksa to have another strong performance as well as Alex Edler

- On SJ back end Murray and Vlasic should have strong performances

- SJ first line should do most of the damage - 2nd line is in a downfall - in particular Dany Heatley (maybe the media will be talking about him instead of Marleau after game 2 or 3)

- Canucks 1st and 2nd lines are in even trends (not too much happening at the moment) We saw the Kesler drop off last game - downward bio trend? Hope not!

- Like I said I don't put much theory into 3rd and 4th liners but Hodgson has been playing well and could possibly have a break out game..

Guess we'll see after this game if experiment #1 worked

Murray had a solid game before it all got outta hand..

Heatley basically a no show..

I thought Hodgson played good - got robbed outta 2 goals..

- I look for the Lecavalier, St. Louis, Purcell line to get some points tonight.. Stamkos line trending downwards..

- Hedman should have a solid game tonight..

- Roloson got pulled last game in favor of Mike Smith.. Though it wasn't all his fault his rhythm is in a downward trend so I will be looking to see if he has an 'average' game tonight..

Boston Predictions

- Not too much happening for Boston players tonight - but I look for the 1st line to get it done again - Lucic should have a solid game..

- 1st D pairing Chara/Seidenberg should be good tonight.. Seidenberg should have a good game..

- I don't expect Seguin to contribute as much tonight - tho he must have a lot of confidence after last game so that should help him..

My pick/prediction - Boston 4-2

I have followed happykane stuff for awhile and it s very interesting

how do u predict boston 4-2 from looking at individual players?

Oh thats just my individual opinion.. The biorhythms are just for individual predictions and testing.. I just think that Boston wins this one..
