NHL Newbie

I dipped my toe in the ice water this year in playoffs and did OK mostly just tailing Bostonian VS Book guys on sport grid.

Im fed up with football and basketball

I like idea Hockeys lines are similar to baseball and feel I can manipulate lines in my favor with some patience.

as a newcomer wanna learn how handicap hockey, I’ll mostly just tail and keep notes first month as I learn to cap 

  I literally know almost nothing about 

5 minutes learn lifetime to master.

Once the season gets goin plenty of good posters here to learn from   

Personally I like my team totals both as single plays and parlays and 1st Period plays (and 2nd & 3rd period props on occasion as well) 

Like baseball, avoid heavy favourites and there's also a formula to convert -1.5 pucklines into -1 PL's so you don't get caught out by those 1 goal games 

wait till 5 mins left, track EN data, bet the spread for the winning team to get the EN goal. It's highly profitable if you know who pulls and when, how teams are against the EN up 1-2 goals and you can also bet No Next goal in 3 goal games with teams you know don't pull down 3

 Good advice, I will look in to that. One of my strategies last year was take the OVER after the 2nd period when the games were close, like 1 or 2 goal lead for one team and it had a decent strike rate, some coaches pull their goalies with 3 or 4 minutes left in the game or some even pull if they are down 3, that leads to garbage EN goals and the over hits.

 Correct, essentially, you're creating an edge for yourself knowing the goalie will be out, just a matter of the situation and numbers making sense around the 8-5 min remaining mark. Mostly in regard to the spread or NNG number, not the game total.
