ytd: 6-4-1. sides:3-4. Totals: 3-0-1.
Flyers ML: Flyers 0-2 to start but expect them to get their first W. Flyers should test Brodeur more often then the isles did as the flyers are bigger and faster. The flyers should be all over the devils D as they forecheck hard. My only concern would be Bryz in net but still think flyers score enough to not worry.
Panthers ML: Panthers just lost tonight 4-0, so expect them to bounce back against a canadiens team that has trouble scoring. The panthers have two lines that can score and D that can jump up in the rush. The panthers power play looked good in the first game. The canadiens are missing Subban which hurts there powerplay. Panthers won all 4 meetings last season.
Lightning/Hurricanes Over 5.5: The over is 9-0-1 in the last 10 meetings. Both teams have offensive firepower with questionable goaltending which equals a recipe for the over !
Sharks/Oilers Over 5.5: Oilers youth and speedy against the sharks talented stars. Oilers got to stay out of the box, they got lucky against the nucks and didnt give up a PP goal but the sharks have two powerplay units that can make them pay. Oilers should get there chances as the Sharks like to run and gun, got to cash in on those odd man rushes, and still not sold on Niemi who looks lost at times.
