 Baston is pretty bad.  Swayman signing might be an Albatross Contract if he doesn't turn this around.

Swayman came in with a 2.95 and .905 so not horrible but you need him to be better. This is a disturbing team. I cannot remember a defensive Bruins team as bad as this in the last 10-15 years. They are constantly leaving the slot open and are often facing away from the middle not communicating with their partners.

And offensively...they have no heart. Whenever they play a tough team...Panting Cats...Canes...Dallas etc. they refuse to go to the dirty areas in front of the net. They show no desperation or will to sacrifice. Too many soft players. That is why I was not in favor of bringing in Elias Lindholm. He will put up some points but not too gritty. 

They are in a bad stead. Marchand is coming off 3 surgeries in the off season but his leadership role looks questionable to me. Of course when you lose one of the best players of all time in Patrice Bergeron 2 years ago you are going to miss that.

Also...they made the worst mistake of all by firing Bruce Cassidy because that lame ass deBrusk whined about how badly he was treating him. Now...you have neither Cassisy or deBrusk. Nice job Don Sweeney.

The team is a ship without a rudder right now.
