Behind the Flyers bench anytime now, just need a few more losses. Tough to cheer against your team, but I'm doing exactly that, for the greater good as they say. If they come to their senses soon this time will turn right around the same way the Blues did a few years ago when they hired Berube mid season.

Not about being bad or good, it is about it being a good fit. It's like a relationship it works or it doesn't. It's like when a coach has a lot of success with a team but then the team starts doing horribly and he is let go, the coach didnt change, the relationship just soured and he lost the room or can't connect to the new players for whatever reason. Well sometimes this happens right away that's all. There is clearly a disconnect here. I watch them every game which is really tough to do because they play void of any emotion. Well when a team comes out flat every night and plays with no fire or emotion that is a direct reflection of the relationship between he coach and the players. I mean they could magically turn things around but there has been zero sign of that happening so I guess we will see but for a team that went out and signed players and has a good collection of talent and have their season ticket base dropping to all time franchise lows, don't expect them to be overly patient. It's pretty obvious there is a disconnect between the coach and the players. Not sure he can get that back. I personally hated the hiring neither he nor his buddy Michel Therrien are people that belong in the Flyer organization in my opinion.

By the way not making fun because um a contrarian type player and love taking teams that nobody thinks can win and I put them in a parlay yesterday myself but a bet in the over covered it. But I knew it wasnt a good idea and it probably still isn't. They can't lose every game but when they will win is just a guess

Id be totally ok with that and a move needs to be made sooner rather than later, Get Giroux out too as the room needs a complete culture change, hes been the most inept captain in their history. Last year on his deal but expect him to waive his no trade

Been a Flyers fan since 69'. The 1st expansion team to the original six in 67'. It's a bit disheartening. Before the 2018-19 season the Flyers held the 3rd best all time points percentage only behind Vegas & Montreal. The Flyers have the most appearances in the conference finals of all 24 expansion teams,16 appearances winning 8. I was really pumped when Carter Hart was signed, hate to see him wasted with bad defense and no goal support. Cam Atkinson trade looked promising. Agree with Polar Bear & Tone79, I was not a fan of AV signing for coach and also agree Giroux needs to go as well. Dave Hakstol (ex Flyers coach) has more wins with Seattle than Philadelphia as. Flyers -21 goal differential as of now, no excuse.

Andre Tourigny coaches the Arizona Coyotes. Tocchet actually coached a talentless Coyote team into the playoffs when he was with them. Lay off the opioids kid, they turn your brain into mush. And all you had to do was take a few seconds to google his name and you would have known this and saved yourself from exposing your lack of cognitive availability to everyone.

Tocchet was a great Flyer and will not stand for laziness. I would love to see what could happen with Toc at the helm. Isn't it crazy how people talk shit and are totally clueless. LMAO

They haven't picked anyone they just fired their coach...he is an assistant acting as an interim until they hire someone. I've answered you about the flyers a few times moose, other than the coach they quit on being gone nothing else has changed until we witness it change. Can't you find something better to bet on than a team that has lost a bunch of games in a row and has looked like complete garbage in doing so?? Haven't scored more than 3 goals in a game since October 27th and your total tonight is 6.5 so you have to be willing to bet that the team that hasn't scored more than 3 in forever probably has to do that tonight.....sounds like a stupid bet to me.

Against the Avs? The Flyers just got rocked by Tampa on a b2b. As good as I think Tampa is, they've been able to be gotten lately. Avs just lost to the Sens, they're gonna wanna kill the Flyers and they prob will.
Reading this thread is good insight on what people are thinking. Idk how anyone could consider the Flyers right now. I'm a huge Flyers fan, been one all my life but nothing is going their way lately. The coaching change will turn it around because they do have a ton of talent but it won't be tonight.
Also, I'd love Tocchet to take over. Philly legend.
