What would you guys be willing to pay for an app that can track all your open games in one page (no need to look up scores for several leagues/sports), see live spreads and what other users are taking (% on each side), and do research on a match up on the go?

I think $5 would probably be a good price but could get a ton of downloads for a buck or free and I believe you would still be able to make a lot of money.
I actually find this very interesting. I have had ideas about developing apps for similar things (not that idea) and would be interested to know how you go about it? And how much you have to put into it for it to be a success?
Are you able to make money from straight advertising and hits and downloads if you made a free app?

there are a few websites that exist now to help people build apps on their own such as parse.com or github.com.
there's also a new company that specializes in mobile ads if you decide to make a free app. If you are thinking of making a game, you should check out Kiit. There ads work well w/ games. Most other ads aren't too great.
