Avs better team than the Oilers…. Similar but better…. Dallas has much better defensive structure which may lead into some quality offense… I really like Tanev and Miro H .. to be the difference…. Dallas - Florida would be a great finals …. Dallas in Edmonton would expect higher scoring games because Edmonton will need to open it up a bit more then in Dallas… Dallas in 6… 7 would not surprise me but just can’t see Edmonton winning 3 games… I think Dallas will go all the way and finally win the Cup…

I believe the Oilers currently have the #1 ranked pp and pk in the playoffs. 

Stars won the cup in 98-99 against buffalo (4-2).

this is the second time ive seen someone on here now in the last week that said  stars haven't won a cup..

I'm thinking Dallas has a huge advantage behind the bench and in leadership. It'll definitely be an interesting series. 

I think Dallas has a huge edge over the Oilers in this series. They are a better overall team, and are built to play defense and run 4 explosive defensive scoring lines.. Expect a healthy Roope Hintz and Jani Hakanpaa in their lineup for game 1 vs the Oilers. Hakanpaaa is a big physical defenseman absent from the first 2 series. Tannev is playing at a higher level than any defensemen in the playoffs. In the end Oettinger is the difference maker. If he's on, the Oilers could be in big trouble. The Otters home numbers are not as good as his road numbers in the playoffs, so that's something to watch. Oilers lost 5-0 to Dallas last time out in early April, Oettinger beat Pickard collecting the shutout, and 5 different players scored for Dallas... DALLAS IN 5

Yeah I just can’t see how it’s this easy for Dallas 5 6 games. I might be wrong but something tells me the best player on the planet is hearing the talk he was a ghost in the Canuck series. He scored 1 goal in 7 games that’s not good enough. The Oilers have the two best players hands down in the series. I don’t see how the Stars have a coaching advantage at all. Both coaches have won championships just not a Stanley Cup. I don’t care how deep Dallas is. This is the western conference finals both teams deserve to be there. To me the key is 97 and what 97 we get. If he is the best player on the planet like we usually see well I like the Oilers chances to actually win this series. This could be a 7 game series. I think it helps the Oilers starting on the road as well. I think it’s going to be a long series and a great one good luck to whoever you take! I will say Oilers in 6 or 7.

 They are getting the “ faked “ cup… or the traveling cup … it’s exactly the same as the original … perfect replica of it …. The real one stays behind and it’s taking care of it like a Mona Lisa…. The reason I know… used to own a little restaurant and bar, the Hawks equipment manager was my friend and when they won the cup of course I had the cup in my hands ….

I live in Edmonton, there an old legend from the Oilers hay day that they fukked the cup up so bad, it ended up in a mechanic body shop to try and fix the damage
