Sunday's plays

Yesterday 1-0.  Liked Dallas to win cup.  Not oozing with confidence today.  Not sure why the poor play last two games but I think Stars will be very competitive today.

Good luck on the Stars. Oilers have a great record after being up 3 to 2 in a series. Should be a great game.

 We will see soon enough.  Stars are 6-2 on the road in the playoffs this year. I think hard played game perhaps to OT.  Stars have a shot. 

They're 2-0 in the McDavid/Draisaitl era. Last year they won Game 6 in Los Angeles to eliminste the Kings, and seven years ago they won Game 6 in San Jose to eliminate the Sharks. 

In the 2006 playoffs, the Oilers twice won Game 6 at home to clinch a series.

And 14-3 over the past three months. Ten of those 14 road wins were by more than one goal, including 4 of their 6 playoff road wins.

Hey BostonEagle.....really feeling the deterioration of the Dallas D at this time and combined with the Oilers speed and hunger it will be over tonight....Dallas started with 5 D men...Tanev on the hobbile and Suter showing his age the Oilers will take advantage and put a great goaltender Oetinger under immense pressure....defense wins in most sports and I find Dallas is at a huge disadvantage now....cheers 

That makes a lot of sense to me. Decision made.

 Dallas did not win as we know but they only gave up two goals and only 10 shots on goal in total (a record low).  That is pretty good defense for me on the road at Edmonton. They had 35 shots on goal but only found the netting once (plus a pipe). They didn't get the breaks.  That is the way it goes.

The Oilers took their 2-goal lead in the 1st period and sat on it. They barely tried to score in the 2nd period and didn't try AT ALL to score in the 3rd period. I don't give the Stars defense much credit for that.

But 2 goals on 10 shots is .800 right?
