Seems too juicy to pass up at +145. Carolina 3-1 on the road wins vs. NYI, Toronto, and Washington. Only loss at Pitt. Not saying they should be favs by any means but value seems to be there. Thoughts?

I can't talk you out of it. in fact I just added the Hurricanes +140 to my Thursday play list. like their road record and slight advantage in goals for

Canes straight 3 wins on the road
Hurricanes 0-5 in their last 5 vs. Western Conference.
Canes won last 4 meets.
Canes well rested.

think I may have found a NOT bet the Hurricanes reason. coach Kirk Muller is playing "Secret Squirrel" with his starting goaltender which CAN mean the backup which would be Justin Peters because Anton Khudobin is on injured reserve. Peters was a "full tilt SIEVE" last season esp on the road. was 4-11 overall with a 3.46 Gaa  

IF he starts, I would think about OVER 5 -125 rather than the Canes side

I'm not a fan of the CANES as a team so I can't back them. But I agree their is some line value.

I have one reason why you should not bet on Carolina. Josh Harding - seriously how can you bet against that guy right now at home. He's given up 1 goal or pitched a shut out in every game at home so far this year.

Because the Wild cant score,The Canes are a fast team,If they put 2 in they have every chance in the world and for that with the price

Its not like the canes are lighting up the scoreboard or anything. meanwhile everyone is on the over and it dropped to 5. Seems like a safer bet on the under to me.
