Haven't had a lot of time to post lately. Been on a work roller coaster as my office is down 3 people on a 12 person staff.
Tonight...BRUINS -115
A FEW EARLY SEASON OBSERVATIONS
Been a little choppy so far. Need to re-evaluate some of the teams that have cost me money so far.
DEVILS...I was high on them for a playoff push but their goaltending is not up to snuff and the gagging of big leads has cost me 3 bets so far.
DALLAS...Yeah they have some injuries but there is something wrong down there. I don't see any passion or desperation in their game and Bishop looks very pedestrian. Cost me 2 bets so far.
WILD...Believe it or not...I had them going over the 87 point total this season. I think the players may want Boudreau out because their talent level is not that bad. Cost me 2 bets so far.
SWORDS...jury still out on them but if goaltending holds up...they may hang around
DUCKLINGS...Had them as a bottom feeder. Gibson has been amazing. Not sure he can do it all year though.
BRUINS...I was down on them for not making any significant offseason moves but Cassidy appears to be a hell of a coach. Their speed is up and discipline defensively is a good sign. Best depth in goaltending in the NHL I believe. They are going a long way again if they stay healthy.
