Weedy &#xA;Been a blade putter all my life and being in mid-50&#x27;s began with a little of the yips so went left hand low, then was having difficulty with getting ball to the hole ( I am a die in putter) so I went to the mallet (Spyder). At first it was a difficult transition because you lose the feel with the mallet putter but after a couple of months, you develop feel. The biggest, positive change was from the 5-6 foot range, it is solid. Hit it square and with confidence, it goes in the hole. I will be interested when the summer comes and greens get faster, will I return to a blade for touch putting. Don&#x27;t think you would be disappointed in it as I feel we all need several putters the older we get.
