Value Pick Edmonton Oilers Tomorrow

Momentum has shifted and Dallas more than likely will not have their shutdown defenseman. Tanev seen in a walking cast from blocked shot on foot yesterday. Oh boy...Oilers will have a lot less resistance in front of net from Dallas. This leaves alot of freedom to the Oilers stars to make things happen. McDavid and Draisaitl feeding of the hunger and passion to move closer to the finals. Just my thoughts but Dallas potentially down to 4 defenseman that are playoff calibre....that's a tall order...cheers and good luck

Well , that means, Oilers will have finally the same mount of good defense man as Dallas….. yeah they will miss him but Dallas has a structure similar to Florida …. With or without Tanev …. They will need to keep their eyes on Draisaitl …. 

If I remember correctly game 3 in Edmonton you just like me liked Dallas and the over… did you place your bet because Taney was in a line up…. I think the way Dallas played in second period was completely irrelevant if Tanev was in a lineup or not…. Dallas has enough “Old” leadership on all positions of the roster they can play around his absence…. Just like what I mentioned before…. Edmonton is not better than Colorado…. Their goalie is like Jekyl or Hyde …more Jekyl I guess …. Colorado had a better goalie with similar defense…. If I were you I would just watch the game…. 

You have some good points pt2win....unfortunately defense is a huge factor in the playoffs....yes anyone can win but when you take the other teams best defender...shot blocker elite....that leaves a huge hole to cover....Dallas already only playing with 5 D....Petrovic is really a non factor...mow remove Tanev...bring another patchwork D man....I wish you good luck....will see tomorrow....I believe there will be more space and less shot blocks tomorrow by Dallas which leads me to believe too much overwhelming pressure on its way by the Oilers...cheers

 Was thinking that same thing - D depth about even with Tanev AND Hakinpa out.  They played 3/4 season without Tanev, and won a lot of games.  Nurse is one of the most over-rated D in the League and he'd be #5 or #6 on a lot of the playoff teams.

 Wish you well with the Oil.  Leon and McJesus have been trying for multiple years now, and they were just as hungry last year and year before as this.  Dallas depth up front is still way more than Oil can boast.  That said, I agree that Oil at plus money represents value, but I'd need them to be +120 or higher to put my money on them.
