Yes ProG1 that is true in Canada and USA...girl can say what she wants and you are done, as you say.  Here in Colombia it is the other extreme...Colombia is a great place to be if you want to be a deadbeat dad or a wife beater...if you want to be a responsible dad like me in the event of separation, the courts make it difficult if the mother of your child disagrees with you...

I would say that somewhere between the 2 extremes of USA and Canada where you are toast at the whim of whatever the girl claims, and the other extreme of Colombia and probably Russia where girls and kids don't get enough protection, there must be a happy medium...

Where there is the optimal balance between honesty of the girl, and enough protection for women and children.without sending a guy down the river for something he didn't do.

Denver County Judge Claudia Jordan ordered Varlamov to stay away from his girlfriend and not contact her. (think THAT goes without saying. IF some broad tried to jack me up, I wouldn't want to have ANYTHING to DO with her EVER AGAIN)

HOPEFULLY this gets straightened out quickly and does NOT effect his on ice performance
