This Carolina team is sitting with 96 points and currently fighting tooth and nail with the Devils for the division title. A week ago they suffered back to back shutouts against Vegas and New Jersey. After a home victory against Winnipeg on Tuesday, the Canes took it on the chin against the Leafs last night and are now trailing the Flyers late in the third period today. Does Svechnikov make that big of a difference? confused
