What?? At this point that's like asking Joe Biden to maintain his momentum.

Okay, I take that back. The Florida Panthers are reeling and appear to have no answers, but they can still walk and their brains aren't melting. Psychologically, though, it doesn't look like they will be able to overcome this unprecedented situation. Please don't tell me about the 1942 Toronto Maple Leafs and how they heroically came back from down 3 games to none to win the Stanley Cup over the Red Wings because ancient history means nothing right now. A team that played more than eighty years ago wasn't facing rapid reactions and withering criticism/second guessing on most forms of media like modern athletes now have to deal with. 

By the way, how lucky did the NHL get? From the verge of an unwanted sweep to what will likely be one of the highest-rated NHL games ever.

   I'm sure ALL hockey fans are thrilled to see a game 7 Stanley cup final. It will be the 18th Game 7 in Stanley Cup Final history since the NHL moved to a best-of-7 format in 1939; home teams are 12-5. The last Game 7 of the Cup Final was in 2019, when the St. Louis Blues defeated the Boston Bruins 4-1 on the road.

If the Oilers lose it's ok they weren't supposed to come back 4 in a row.

The Panthers must be feeling it & they surely don't want to go back home & lose. 

I hope it's another close 2 goal game & of course I want the cup to come back home!

I got the Oilers in this one. I think the Panthers are a great team. They beat my Rangers handedly. But right now the momentum is on the Oilers side and they have nothing to lose because they weren’t supposed to come back down 0-3. Florida has to be pressing right now. Give me the Oilers -105

I put in NHL19 in the good ol’ PlayStation 4 last night…. Oilers (played by myself) vs the Panthers ….. Edmonton lost 3-2….. made me sick to my stomach….. unplugged the PlayStation and didn’t mention this to anyone until now. 

Hope history doesn’t repeat itself on Monday.

Gotta go with the Panthers here.  I played hockey when I was younger and always have followed it since then. Huge Pens fan here and have lived in the burgh most of my life

I know Fla hasn't looked good the past couple games, but I think the Oilers gotta feel a little overconfident here and the Panthers are hungry not to make history as a loser at home and they lost in the finals last year. I think they find an extra gear and get a little puck luck too. Bob will play great and Fla will even get a PP goal

Game 7s are always intense and unpredictable. The team that performs best under pressure and executes their strategy will likely come out on top.
