Hey guys, after not liking the card yesterday and taking the day off. I am pretty pleased I listened to that "little" guy telling me to stay away as my best bet was going to be on the Oilers! Anyways now back onto today, there is one game that really stood out too me and a couple others that I liked. On Tuesday I went 3-1 for +6 Units and hit my parlay for a +5ish Units, I look to carry over that onto today
On the year I am
6-6 For a net loss of 2 units
1-0 Parlays +5 Units
My First Play
Vancouver Canucks (Risking 1.35 Units to Win 1 Unit)
Plan and simple the Canucks are rolling, yes the injury to David Booth should hurt them, but this team has depth and when a guy like Jannik Hasen is scoring that says something. Other the other hand you have the Canadians who don't often out play the other team, they had no right to earn a point in that game vs the Blue Jackets. I expect the Canucks to keep it rolling and start there road trip off on the right foot.
My Second Play
Pittsburgh Penguins (Risking 3 Units to win 3.15 Units) My POD
I like the Pen's here, everyone thinks the Pen's won't be the same now that Crosby is sitting out a couple of games? Do people already forget how the Pen's did last year or even at the start of the year? I think the Books are trying to trick us to go with a Flyers team that isn't the same without Chris Pronger on D and a team that played a great game for 60+ minutes, I expect the Flyers to be a bit tired. Yes the Pen's D is hurting, but this Flyers team isn't the same without Pronger, we trade Letang for Pronger, but its still Fleury vs Bobrovsky..... I'll take a guy thats shown me he can win big games.
Well guys, I might play another game or two, I'm really interested in the NFL game tonight so I'm going to look that over, I also like the Wild if they play either Backstrom or Harding (Not sure if either will play due to injury) The Panther seem really temping with the price tag, I think they have the talent to beat the Bruins. Anyways BOL to all with your picks and lets make some money, till next time
Wingman Out!
