First of all, If you have bet on the Red Wings anytime this past week I apologize in advance. Their performance has been nothing short of pathetic and they have some issues to figure out quick.
So now we go on the road, to start a nice little road trip throughout Canada. Meeting a red-hot Vancouver team at the Rogers Centre seems like an easy play to take the Nucks right, Wrong!
First of all, the Red Wings have great success against Luongo. Scoring a combination of 13goals in 2 games against Lu.
Next, Babcock has been very vocal about this teams struggles. He's pushing the team hard in practice and players know they have to be better.
Jimmy Howard has been slumping a bit, but he played a great game against the NYR that probably earned us a point we didn't deserve.
Rarely does this Red Wings team lose 5 in a row. They will come out a different team tonight, I promise you that.
I'm not promising you the Wings will win, because that would just be silly. This is probably the toughest game to call on the board tonight.
The absence of Franzen kind of concerns me. He takes a lot of heat from this town but he's been playing pretty well and his big body would've been helpful against a physical Vancouver team.
If I were you guys, I would just avoid this game.
I know I'm a big Red Wings fan, but I'm telling you this because I know this team like the back of my hand, and I'd like to help you guys with my insight as much as possible.
Good luck with whatever picks you make tonight!
