Yzerplan Is Failing

Not sure why Yzerman wanted to resign Patrick Kane. He's only good in the offensive zone, which hasn't been so good this year (1 assist in 4 games). Goaltending is terrible, and the defense, Petry can go, Chiarot can go. I thought he traded for all these draft picks to get talent and play them, Why isn't Kasper in Detroit? Lalonde is probably on this ice (pardon the pun). We need an experienced coach. The real question is, how long is Chris Illitch gonna wait for the Yzerplan to start working? I know he built a great team at Tampa, but it's been too long since we've seen a playoff game.

 Good points not sure why Kane is there. He likes playing with Debrincat but he is no where near the player he once was. 

Who do you want him replaced with?

 I know there's not much out there, but Gallant who played with Yzerman has won everywhere he's been. Not sure why he only lasts 3 years per job, but I thought he might be the guy 2 years ago.

 The Rangers will make a lot of teams look foolish this year.

 They also lost to the Pens, who aren't a good defensive team at home 6-3. Of course Husso started that game, and he really sucks. Seems like any goalie who has a good back up year Yzerman signs in hopes they'll be the guy, but they haven't panned out (Nedeljkovic and Mrazek). I just lost all faith in the Yzerplan. I can only hope that after this season all these guys who are on the last year of their contracts (Kane and Petry to name a couple) are gone. Let the young guys come up and get their feet wet.
