         Semifinal Preview

        Mondo VS Thedeakon

Mondo continues his relentless pursuit of a 2nd Championship when he takes on Thedeakon in this Semifinal clash. Mondo finally had to fight in this Battle Forum in his match with Taylor but as always Mondo rose to the occasion to vanquished the Rookie Gladiator. Thedeakon has been the most consistent Gladiator remaining in the tournament. He has finished #1 in 2 of the 4 weeks as well. Thedeakon will be playing in his 1st Semifinal but as an experienced Gladiator with many big battles under his belt we know he can handle the pressure. This is going to be one great Battle.

DAY 1 RECAP

THEDEAKON DIGS BIG HOLE ON DAY 1

Thedeakon is in trouble and we're just getting started. Thedeakon picked a weird time to implode going 1-9 and losing 890 points. If it wasn't for Colorado St-CS Bakersfield going Over the total Thedeakon would have finished the day winless at 0-8. Mondo managed to win 1 game and lost only 120 points.

We may be headed for a Battle Forum first if Mondo and Masterone meet. One of these Gladiators will be the first to win 2 Championships or Masterone will be the first to Repeat if results stay as they are now.

THEDEAKON RUNNING OUT OF TIME

Thedeakon was trying to find some magic yesterday but he still can't get any traction. He only went 2-3-1 losing 130 points. At this point every point is precious and while Thedeakon struggles Mondo is content to watch his fellow Gladiator with gleeful joy knowing that time and games are running out for Thedeakon.

Deacon it wasn't' my intention to squat this week. Due to your start it seemed like the best approach. A shout out to your balls which must be as big as your horses for your attempt to bury me early. I felt the games were very difficult this week and we all know that we are all better than what we have shown. I wish you future success and we will see you next time. Your always a class act.

Thanks Mondo. Unfortunately my strategy didn't work this time.  When you go for the early kill and fall behind like that it is very difficult to catch up. Especially like you said ,the games were really hard to pick this week You did the right thing by just sitting. I would have done the same if the roles were reversed.

.Good luck in the next round. I will see you in future Forums. For me this was the best Forum so far.

Also kudos to smooth for running a great contest.

MONDO ELIMINATES THEDEAKON!

Mondo eliminated Thedeakon in what has been one of the least exciting Semifinals we've had in Battle Forum history. Both contests were over early and both losing Gladiators followed the same philosophy of trying to get out to the early lead. It definitely backfired on both as they lose by almost identical scores. Mondo will now play Masterone in a historic Championship to see which one of these Battle Forum Champs can earn a 2nd Title. Congrats to Mondo.

This would be a great idea one day. I don't know if I should say this,but the  last time I was in Vegas was in 1975. I'm sure things must be different now. I do plan one more trip to Vegas,just don't know when yet .In the meantime we can all be brothers on here.
