At this point I do not know how many players we will have or what the prize pool will total, but I am expecting it to be just north of 40 players with roughly $4000 in money to be had.
Due to this significant reduction in players, there will be a significant change in the number of prizes and prize values. I will have a complete payout schedule posted no later than Monday night when I know what the exact number is.
Because of this uncertainty, there will NOT be a $100 weekly prize for week one. Weekly winners are still on the table, but not for week one.
Thanks to all for coming back to play, and thank you for your patience while I figure out how to make this work in an entertaining and fair manner.
Cheers and good luck on the season!

UPDATE: Weekly winners will be worth $100 apiece but will only apply to even numbered weeks (2/4/6/8/10/12/14/16).
In the event of a tie, the tied players will advance to the following week and compete head to head to determine the winner. I will keep an accounting of weekly winners on this thread throughout the season.
GL to all.

I love the league and have been a part of it for 5 years now. I appreciate all the hard work you've put in year in and year out, especially this year with all the COVID reasons to make this season more difficult.
I'd like to make a proposal on you still doing payouts for weekly winners every week instead of just Even numbered weeks with a payout of $50 to the winner. By eliminating prizes for half the weeks it takes away half the thrill of the season. That has been the fun part the last 5 years in trying hard to win the week over the rest of the participants. I like the rule of carry-over to go head to head vs the person you are tied with as well.
I get if you shoot it down, or maybe even put it up for a vote for the entrants to decide on All weeks for $50 or Even weeks only for $100. Just wanted to weigh in my 2 cents on the subject because I love trying to go for winning every week.
Thanks again for running a great league!!!

Addendum - after popular demand on the overall Payout Schedule thread, I am revising the weekly winner prize to be in effect every week of the regular season (weeks 2-17). In the event of a tie between players, the money will rollover to the following week and be available to ALL players rather than just those who tied.
In the event of a week 17 tie, the money will go to the tied player with the best overall win percentage at that point. Thank you for the suggestions, I am always looking to improve this contest. Weekly winner results will be posted on this thread from here on out.
Cheers and good luck everyone.
