Questions regarding first year office pool

First year creating an office pool on here. Can anyone help answer these qs?

I am the comish to my pool, how do I change rules?

I have set picks to be worth 100 points each, but some players are +30, -30, how can this be correct if they are all worth 100 points?

Once u set rules u cannot change anything, covers doesnt let commissioners edit anything on office pools..

100 points means its 110/100 like normal betting. If u set it to 100 points for ML sports like MLB then its risk 100 on dogs to win whatever the line is (+100 or up), and its risk whatever the line is on Favs to win 100. All totals are risk 110/100, 220/200 and so forth.

Just clicked on ur Avatar and saw ur Pool on your page.. In description u have NFL/NCAAF.. Thats not possible with covers pools, its only 1 sport at a time, u cannot mix Ncaaf and NFL into 1 pool.

and all regular plays and totals are risking 110 to win 100

I been running pools on here for like 5 years now, usually have decent prize pots if your ever interested. You can look at my threads in this forum and see previous pools.. They are always Buy-In Pools though.. Winners are paid immediately following the end of pool.. Good Cappers and good people and usually its the same group of 10-15 guys every sport every year..

phillyfan is correct on all counts - &#xD;&#xA;wanted to add a couple of suggestions for your future consideration...and also pimp my own contest &#xD;&#xA;1.  Make player picks available to view, it creates complete transparency and some strategic gameplay when it comes down to the end of the season.&#xD;&#xA;2.  I see you limited picks - good idea - but you should also create a minimum pick rule.  This is not something Covers offers, so it may create more work for you as Commish.  However there is nothing more discouraging to other players than when somebody gets a decent lead and then just sits on his total.  I have a minimum pick rule of 1 per week and penalize my players -110 units for each week they don&#x27;t, and post the scoring adjustment on the pool forum.&#xD;&#xA;Lastly - pimping my pool - Our Gang&#x27;s 15th Annual Football Pool. NFL only, $100 to get in but paid over 30 players $9700 last year.  Many opportunities to win from week one through the SB.  Deadline to enter and make a pick is 9/14.&#xD;&#xA;GL with your pool Jay4Prez
