Ecoute..........i have said this and said this all along.......where there is money there is always gonna be evil......doesnt matter, who, where and why u are, its like day following night or nght following day, it is always gonna happen.
I reckon down here we are going down a path much worse than in the states........I have watched plenty of NBA, MLB and NFL, i have never ever ever heard any of the commentators talk about betting, the line, etc etc, NEVER........In the league the other day, the commentators couldnt stop talking about the 52.5 start or whatever..........
I just cant believe some people here are so naive and think it doesnt happen..........
Out of what 250 1st grade league players, none of them, or there families bet on the games without info from players?
The administrators as evident by the ICC bloke, Gallop last year in the Roosters game last year just want it to go away, dont talk about it and let it continue, cause the amount of interest it generates, revenue, exposure etc etc.....
They want to collect the cash, but dont want to regulate it...
I dont care what anyone says, that Ryan Tandy incident, seriously, if NOTHING comes of that.....u watch next year, there will be dodgy shit almost every game as players/families and friends will believe they can get away with it..

Didnt u hear what that guy said when they interviewed him on 4 corners....
He said about 10 yrs, there used to be $100 mill on a game of cricket (equivalent to melbourne cup), now $500 mill, this always attracts undesirable characters......
