anyone else keeping upto tabs on the latest events currently going down at the moment?

Seems like it some serious sh*t with Essendon the main culprits and they are talking possible yearly bans if players or clubs are found guilty of performance enhancing drugs.

Sux for this happen with AFL season only a month or so away
Am hopeful it will be a long boring process so betting should not be interrupted for the 2013 season.

I should clarify that Essendon are being looked into and have not done anything wrong at this stage but appears to be quite a few clubs being questioned.

Am sure the whole competition would be pushing the boundaries not to mention the NRL, Soccer and NBL leagues for that matter.

The Bombers players involved should ask for refund

But seriously I've known drug use/Illegal supplements is rampant in downunder sport for sometime. 

In South African rugby the use is even more widespread, they have done well so far to keep it under rapts....but its only a matter of time.

Bird says no and McVeigh is backing him and the team. While I have no feelings one way or the other for Essendon, those two guys have always been stand-up guys so my coin falls on them being honest. Essendon acquitted.

And if Essendon are doping, they better find a new dopeman cuz the garbage they be gettin' ain't workin'.

yeah it's good when you cheat and still fail

I remember South Sydney were suppose to be paid to lose in the early 2000s and I was thinking you wouldn't want to pay too much

Well I hope it doesn't take down the sport.  I watched the Grand Final last year and was immediately hooked.  One of the best sports finals I have seen.
