i think they should be better than last year given how many young players they have, plus if nathan thompson gets back near his best.... i guess it will come down to whether they win or lose a couple of close games during the season but $3 looks overs to me.
Adelaide to make top 8 $1.95
On paper they look weaker than last year if anything but from what i saw on saturday i think they will be a force. players like porplyzia, knights and van berlo look like they look like they have improved significantly.

Don't mind the Adelaide pick...as the simple fact they have enough home games which should be to their advantage, missing a good ruckman to carry then through the season though! They do however seem to have an advantage on 90% of other teams in that they have alot more techinically advanced in their training which could give them the extra edge needed to win eough games to play finals.
As for the Kangaroos, I have never liked them, and in fact picked them the last 2 years to win the wooden spoon - boy O boy was I off last year. They did however have the required rest and operations and extra training from the pre-season in their legs last year because they didn't play finals 06. I think that if they have a couple of injuries to some key players, and without some extra grunt in Archer when the going gets tuff, they could very well struggle.
Out of the two I would prefer to take Adelaide.
GL with what ever you play. Will we see you around this year chalking up the units like in the NBL?
