Nathan Fyfe is the odds on favourite at $2 and in fact, Australia's biggest bookie in Sportsbet paid out on these bets early halfway through the season.

However, Fyfe got injured around this same time and had a very poor second half of the season, coupled with several missed games.

I really don't see Fyfe winning this. It's very difficult to do when missing games where you can't poll votes, so look at the next tier down in Priddis, Dangerfield, Hannebery and Mitchell.

I'd be leaning Priddis because of the Eagles success during the season, but Dangerfield can poll well and Crows don't have too many players who will steal votes off him like other teams.

As for the Grand Final, I am totally locked in on Hawks ML @ 1.60 and Hawks -9.5
They just have it all; the team, the experience, the coach, the desire, the ground they're playing at, their form, revenge factor from first week of finals.

My friends, call me crazy, but I see Hawks taking this by at least 6 goals (36 points), if not more.

I like the bet Brandon, I recall previously that Ablett was just killing it all season and then got injured missing several games and he got overtaken, see a similar thing tonight.

Fyfe will kill it up until round 12, and then the dogs will come barking.

Hannebery has had a great season but Kennedy, Franklin etc can take votes.

I like Priddis and Dangerfield outside of Fyfe.

To be honest I havent done a full blown round by round analysis like I could (or purchase).

Close count fellas, Fyfe takes it on 31 votes, Priddis just behind on 30. Unlucky on getting pridd to win it outright at $7 but got enough on a few other bets. Pridd to finish top 3 at 1.90 was a goldmine, good spot Brandon.

Reckon he got ripped off to be honest. Fyfe so many votes in games not vote worthy. Priddis no votes in vote worthy games.

Reckon sportsbet paying out early have some persuasion in this? Think the AFL should tell them they aren't allowed to pay out early on anything, for the integrity of the game.

100% agree with everything you said Sport, Fyfe polling in games where he wasn't even in the top 5-10 on the ground. But he's still a gun player and I'm happy for him.

Sportsbet would get murdered if they paid out early then Fyfe lost, so who knows. I don't like to think there is collusion in sports like this, but when it comes to business and money...

100% aligned on Grand Finals mate... will be hitting it hard. I'm thinkimg at least 4 goal margin, but 6 or higher absolutely realistic. Will sprinkle some $$ on bugger margins too.
