AFL lines are way off

Question

It seems these lines are consistently off and not by a few points either. Case in point, West coast and St. Kilda...St. Kilda are 31.5pt favs and lose by 17!!!! Also, Sydney favs by 16pts are getting pounded outright by 23 pts at the half!!!!  Are AFL favs just consistent chokers or is the league this flimsy???? No insult meant just a question.

Lines in AFL are best assumptions after the game is played out in the books' head. With the fast-paced scoring and usually high game totals, it is very, very hard to be dead-on with the line.

Unlike in American football where not so many points are score and so the chances of the line being pretty accurate are much better.

My point is you have chosen a round where all the dogs have covered in the round, an anomaly.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;You will find it is a different story if you look at the lines and results over say a 4 week period.

[/Quote]dude, not cool.Just because you are not familiar with the sport no need come in here like that.  AFL results rarely land on or abouts the line, yes that is fact.  Sometimes its close, sometimes its not.

just thought I&#x27;d bring this post up as this week out of the 6 matches so far;&#xD;&#xA;2 matches have been exactly on the line, &#xD;&#xA;2 have been within 2 goals,&#xD;&#xA;and the top 2 teams have easily covered the line
