Round 3 starting off soon, and I've done it yet again: did not pull trigger on strong leans early in the week and line moved enough to lose the play.
Sydney is the only one remaining.
Was very keen on WCE line -18.5, WB getting +8.5 and a bit less on NM laying -24. Am fully committed to make plays next week if Tin is aligned (or not, as in the case of WB).
I'm definitely not playing the Port line (or match). Initially I thought they would come out blazing and make a statement win. However, even though they might just do that, I could easily see them settling for 35-40 point win in the end. Bombers have played them well historically, and may very well have a bit of let down after the big win. But Port are showing (to me) consistency and commitment issues that were ugly last season. The icing on the cake was hearing on AFL Exchange podcast about them taking Charlie Dixon after he was cut from the Suns (I really don't follow details like that too closely, thus my question about info sources last week). Anyway, key point here: the organization making that decision does give confidence. Back to the consistency and commitment issues.
For tomorrow's matches, I'm definite on the Swans line, very likely on the Pies -11.5, likely on Roos, on the fence with Adelaide.
Anyone have a view on these matches (or others)? Here are my hesitations for each match:
Pies: too many injuries? Saints will bring the effort and have the talent to keep this close and outright win. Roos: a lot of points to lay with this team after 2 straight victories facing a team coming off the most embarrassing loss of the season (because it was the Bombers) Crows: I can see how the model and the market has these teams ranked roughly the same, and Tigers will be desperate. But man, Crows offense and accuracy are leagues above the Tigers. I can't see how the Tiges could keep the Crows in check and all of the sudden score well, but I know they have the talent and ability to do it. We've seen it before.
Good luck this weekend, and more tomorrow.

My recollection is that Dixon indicated that he wanted to leave GC as a restricted free agent. In other words he wanted more money. He has a lot of potential. I did not see your question from last week but I will look for it.
Thoughts on other games.
Probably Pies for me. They have a lot of players waiting to come in. Not sure the inclusions this week, I think Buck's is playing some kids this week.
Adelaide could very well murder Richmond. Tigers are similar to Freo in my personal opinion - A game predicated on defence with suspect forward lines.
The Roos game could be the most horrible game to watch this weekend. Roos are very stingy and I personally would not take a large lines because given the ground and the opposition it could be a low scoring game.
GL mate.

Thanks Ecoute, here is the story I was referring to (was read not heard in fact, my mistake): https://m.afl.com.au/news/2016-04-07/shifting-bennell-dixon-a-big-statement-for-suns-malceski

At Harley, it's 2016 and I'm not 80 or 90 yrs old, so please don't call me "Sir" if I'm not paying your wage. Giving you a pass this once. Swans... I'll add more in my comments tomorrow. Performance to date on both sides speaks volumes. Public is clearly falling in love with Giants (a very loveable team and future flag winner).

Thanks buddy, you too. Looking forward to more commentary and plays from you this weekend, as always. Personally, I don't see value on tonight's game, but do think Port find a way and cover. I hope I learn something from the game that will help me make money this season. :)

Stay off my Swannies for this round. After two barnstorming matches, the line has been over-inflated for this match. Also, Gws has always played the Swans tight considering their expansion status.
This match is a no-play, but gun to my head, there is no way I am talking Buddy and the boys minus the points. Go the other way.
I will just barrack for a Swans win without worrying about a spread. Or bet. Haha...

Thanks man, and you may very well be right. I see the Swans by 4+ goals at home.
Swans -18.5
Pies -11.5

Good luck as well! I'm on the Saints to regain some pride. Got them early in the week when 16.5 was on offer. My antenna might be off this round though because I liked Essendon +51.5 and am dangerously close to going stupid on the Crows.
I might go 0-5 including my Giants (no-play) lean.
So, you might hit it out of the park this round!

Melbourne +37.5 Too many points for the Roos to be laying against a highly motivated Dees team coming off an embarrassing loss.
Bulldogs +2.5 and Over 183.5 Both teams love this stadium, and the Doggies are in fine form. Whilst Hawks have pretty much owned them (like The Eagles), the Doggies won't crumble this time. Key Hawk leaders Hodge and Roughead is also a key factor. Dogs by 2 goals.
Good luck
