Nice round last week. While its unusual that I would place AFL bets this early in the week, the should be no surprises that would stop me putting these on, so I've decided to place them early.
Saints/Dockers Saints have performed very well against teams below them but especially well in first quarter games in Melbourne, winning 8 of 9. I'm not comfortable in them covering the spread for the game but I love the first quarter. Saints to win first quarter (7 units)

Oh yeah very early HOH. I've done a lot of research into this weeks games already.
Most line betting will be done after the teams are released, however I really like the dogs at -18.5 as I'll more than likely be placing it irrespective of the dogs 2 possible injuries (Gia & Griffen). I'm just waiting to see which way the line will go.

The lines aren't like last week IMO, as I can mount a case for a few dogs covering the line this week...
Hawthorn v North The hawks have come down a notch or two lately since they have had a few injuries. Still missing Crawf, Croad, Taylor, Bateman and most importantly IMO Sewell. Some big names. The Kangas are closer to their best with their forward structure back. While the hawks got a win in round 3 in the previous meeting and deserve to be favourites again, I think the spread is too much. North +32.5 (5 units)
