This is the first year I&#x27;ve been following AFL and think its a cool sport (99% of NZers here think that sport is gay - actually if we&#x27;re lucky we only get coverage of 1 game a week here).&#xD;&#xA;I either watch the games on justin.tv if they show coverage or afl.com.au stat tracker, which is so cool.&#xD;&#xA;One question I want to ask is are upsets rare? Because I note that points are easily scored and there is always a constant flow of points, so one could only expect the "better" team to win, as I always see games with massive blowouts.

When you put two crap teams against each other and one is over 3 bucks and one is a short priced favourite, then the dog usually gets up as they are unpredictable.

In normal circumstances, upsets happen but not all the time.
