I won't be around this weekend guys as I'm going to Queensland again for a weekend away, so have to get them in early. Good luck this week.
Nearly went with Geelong but Collingwood are pretty good at putting on the pressure and I'm not confident at Geelong blowing them away. Geelong will win but I might just stay away. Mostly road teams this week.
Fremantle ML (currently +106 at pinnacle, +100 most other books) Sydney +12.5 Adelaide -21.5 Saints +26.5 Hawthorn -48.5

And GL this week...personally I don't like playing interstate teams unless I'm very very very confident. Just a quick note on the Syd game, Mark Williams of Port is very pissed off this week so 'maybe' this could flow through to the playing group...usually does
Of your games above I am seriously leaning with the Hawks, haven't picked them yet this year but my impressions are that they want the mantle that Geel currently holds, and with the Cats not playing all that great this only gives them more incentive to play well IMO

GL g-man, hope you have fun in the sun.

If Hawthorn play their game, this is 60+. The Adelaide score last round is a bit misleading as the Dees kept it within 30-ish for a good two quarters and even had a run late..........then utterly collapsed.
Will it be the same against the Hawks?

gmanea, sell me on Hawthorn....I am feeling 60+ here but haven't pulled the trigger yet.
Well they beat the Demons by over 100 points in round 1 and despite Crawford being suspended this time around it doesn't matte because he was also out in Round 1 along with another few of their best players through suspension from the finals last year.
Basically, their form has not dropped since round 1 and they now have a stronger team than they (hawthorn) had in that round 1 encounter. Given that, I don't think 50 point win is out of the equation at all.

Don't like the Siants pick g-man, but I will tail you on the Hawks pick against my better judgement! My main reason for doing so... Hawks finally have a chance to achieve something they have been striving for all year IMO....Top Spot. The thing with sides that are very well coached and have a playing list at the right time for a premiership push is that they want respect and at the moment the Cats have had 'most' attention as they are the premiership favourites, and rightly so (if you look back at what they did last year, and I know it is last year, but that's what alot of people are currently doing except after this weekend). But after the Cats slipped up on Friday night this is the Hawks chance to turn some heads as you watch...in tomorrows papers alot of the attention will squarely be focused on the Hawks if they can 'again' blow the Dee's out of the water, and with a couple of very handy players missing!
Wasn't simply going to play the Hawks due to a few players missing and an extra couple of new boys in the squad, but seeing whats on the line I'm very happy to tail you here g-man, and lets throw in the fact that the Dee's had the record number of clangers last week against the Crows, and now they are up against 'another' very good pressure side, and having travelled back from interstate, and also up against what is believed the best user of the footy in the Hawks.....thus give me the Hawks on a beautiful day (guessing the weather conditions as it was great day here yesterday in Adelaide, and Melb generally get our weather a next day) as I see the big guns up forward having a field day and thus an approx 70-80 point win.

Try this, it is Round 9 and I have not had a single round this season where I have picked more losers than winners. I currently sit at 1-2 this week.
Well, that's all you had to say!!!!
Hahaha...
Seriously, Melbourne's record at the MCG is absolute garbage. Even North belted them by 48. With Geelong losing, and this was one of the angles I was working on and Miracle mentioned, the Hawks can now sneak into 1st. I did try thinking about backing Melbourne at +48.5 and crapped my pants.
Hawthorn -48.5 it is!
Let's get this done!

nice Post Miracle1976. Always good to hear comments. I hope the hawks destroy melbourne, personally I'd rather they lose but now I've already told people to put their money down on the hawks lol. Brisbane/Saints game will be interesting.
