I reckon it's a must win game for the eagles and they are clearly a better side this season and have a fantastic work ethic as compared to to their past 3 seasons. The gameplan is also paying dividends in the final quarter of matches and this is my only concern taking them to win between 39 points because I just hope they don't put the foot down in the final minutes and win it by over 7 goals but feel the Crows will give it everything for a good 3 quarters before giving in. Too many big men playing well for the Eagles here.
Kangaroos -20.5
Kangaroos finally can start winning some of these easy games and get some momentum going into the 2nd half of the season. Strange line but most teams who have played the Suns have basically penciled them in for a win before even playing (even though you'd never hear them admit it) and this is a good reason why the Suns have jumped teams at the start of games but I can't see the Kangaroos doing this and instead can really feel a good 8 goal win by the roos tonight. They will not want to be in for a fight till the final minutes and will be sure to win the game and finish off any comeback early on.

hey rod...can't wait! It's gonna be another rippa match tonight but kinda tough game to tip because Buddy Franklin is still questionable but I suspect he won't be playing. Too much risk involved if he does happen to tweak it again (calf or groing) but if he doesn't it should really favor Geelong because we will use an extra loose man in the back to mop up the crumbs and just run it through the middle again. I have a good feeling Geelong win this game and win well. I can see either Stevie J or the J-Pod having a big game and wouldn't be surprised to see Podsiadly kick 5 or 6 goals as he was pretty fired up after last week's match in response to comments Mark Maclure made saying he's only a skilled stadium specialist. He's really starting to gain form now and at the start of the year was 2nd grabbing his marks but over the past 3 weeks he's been taking them all infront of his eyes and in contested situations so if he gets the right supply he'll be the big difference tonight.
I watched the Hawks play last week against Fremantle and they were not impressive at all. Freo did play well but Hawthorn seemed to lack speed and it wasn't until 7 minutes through the final quarter they began kicking goals and it was largely due to Fremantle running out of legs and dropping right off. Hawks said they tried to beat Geelong in a shootout last time they played but that turned out to be a wrong idea so this time around they may try and play a one on one defensive minded game......and that will again play right into Geelong's hands because they are the number 1 defensive team in the AFL. Keep an eye on Selwood as he will play one of his best games of the year tonight
