how come?- look who they have beaten in the last 10 rounds, the other joke sides only. - no forwards playing well. - essendon have beat them the last 6. - essendon near full strength are a pretty formidable for mine.sure they have more to play for i am not sure this will help them.

Hmmmm that line is telling me a story"&#xD;&#xA;If this were a scenario / line for a mainstream US sport matchup, the bombers would probably be described as "bait" or "trap" ect. But all that conspiracy bookmaker / &#x27;take your cue from the line&#x27; theory doesn&#x27;t really apply in Aust sports imo. &#xD;&#xA;Still though, (and not that I am any sort of AFL expert, far from it) whenever a team (in any sport) is embarrassed like the blues were last weekend and their coach basically accuses them of giving up, they&#x27;re a good side to be on the following week.

Nicely said Jive... and I think you are spot on with your views.

I don't believe the Bombers are a good side... and Carlton should bounce back. The Blues haven't been able to score due to their big men not providing a contest but this week there will be holes.

If it was at Telstra, I would say the over... but at the MCG, the value is with the Blues.
