this is the sort of game and the sort of line that really divides punters of differing ideologies.

In the red corner (in a nut shell) you have the guys who look at the form and the recent stats (esp the matchup head to head) and deem the Bombers very good value - and rightly so.

In the blue corner (in a nut shell) you have the guys who look at all the stuff the red corner guys looked at but who then ask themselves "so why are the blues 1.80 favourites?? Hmmmm that line is telling me a story"

If this were a scenario / line for a mainstream US sport matchup, the bombers would probably be described as "bait" or "trap" ect. But all that conspiracy bookmaker / 'take your cue from the line' theory doesn't really apply in Aust sports imo.

Still though, (and not that I am any sort of AFL expert, far from it) whenever a team (in any sport) is embarrassed like the blues were last weekend and their coach basically accuses them of giving up, they're a good side to be on the following week.
