MARCUS STROMAN WILL NOT BE TAKING THE LOSS TODAY...
Use this information and hopefully there isn't a forearm injury today *cough*cough*Gonsolin*Cough*Cough however you want but Marcus Stroman won't be taking a loss today. Some of you may have seen Stroman got into a Twitter beef with Zach Hample- the homerun ball collector recently. MLB would NEVER let Stroman pitch today if they thought he would possibly take the loss here. MLB protects certain players and tries to embarrass others. This is one of those situations.
Now this doesn't mean the Cubs win necessarily... but it does mean you can bet the Cubs live if they get down a few runs and hedge or even take the ML and hedge with Toronto. I actually think Toronto gets down and comes back to win again myself due to the fact that ESPN has stayed well away from this story. It's possible they post an article after the fact or even during the game. Toronto's lineup is also really tough tonight though they probably have a better record with Springer in CF rather than DH. So maybe the Cubs have a shot?
