I know im an idiot for even thinking of such a thing ......but is there a book who will take bets on the afl draft today .....and the chances of ben cousins being drafted ?
Sportingbet usually offer such bets for these type of 'events', but they haven't to date and with the draft on later this afternoon this will not happen. As for being drafted, that won't happen either as my sources tell me that:
1. The draft has too much talent in there to use on a risky player;
2. Any team that is considering him, and it looks like being very limited number of them these days, will only look at the pre-season draft;
3. And finally, the most important, teams still are waiting on which Ben will turn up over the next month or so before making the final decision. Personally I thought the best club would be the Hawks, but I have found out that 2 of the 6 players currently in the AFL that are on 2 strikes for drugs are from the Hawks so they wouldn't run the risk.
That's just what I have heard, and believe me my sources are genally around the mark...and as for one of the Hawks boys, well what can I say, he is considered by many as one of the best player's in the league. If you know enough about Aussie Rules, you'll work that one out, otherwise do some research as I won't name him
