My plays for this week.
Western Bulldogs V St.Kilda - Telstra Dome - Friday night.
Both teams undefeated. Both teams have a lot of legs and run. The forward line for St.Kilda is huge and might stretch the Bulldogs defence but what I have seen of the Bulldogs - particularly in Round 1 against Adelaide is agression. St.Kilda struggled over Sydney and Carlton last week is no heavy win. Likewise the Bulldogs with Melbourne last week. This match will be closer than what everyone thinks.

Either team under 24.5 points @ $2.05
Kangaroos V Hawthorn - MCG - Saturday Afternoon
Hawthorn played in Perth last week so the question mark is over there legs. Kangaroos are not as good as people make them out to be. They lost in Round 1 and last week they beat Richmond who are battling with Melbourne for the spoon - big deal. Hawthorn have played with pride, passion and agression over the first two rounds. The forward line should be enough to see them over the line. Can they cover the 15.5 spread? I don't know. That's why I'm taking the ML.
Hawthorn to win @ $1.45
West Coast V Fremantle - Subiaco - Saturday Afternoon
Fremantle are the same old team year in year out - a failure. I don't know why they persist in the AFL - they are not good, they have never been good and they will never be good. Period. A soft team with shit players and a shit setup. Tarrant is useless and Pavlich is not stepping up. West Coast had a hard fought win over an improved Brisbane in round 1. They lost to Adelaide in Round 2 - but that was in Adelaide. West Coast's players need to lift. A loss here and questions will be asked over senior players. Likewise Fremantle need a win ASAP or risk their season falling apart. I can't see Fremantle getting a win here.

Geelong V Melbourne - Skilled Stadium - Sunday Afternoon
Geelong return home for the first match of the season. Geelong have been playing good. Melbourne on the other hand are crap. Two heavy losses - one in 3 figures and one just outside of 3 figures last week. This line is the biggest ever in the AFL. Can Geelong cover it? Yes they can. Will Geelong cover it? I don't think so. Melbourne have had heavy defeats but this match is outdoors. Geelong played indoors last week in perfect conditions. Skilled stadium is a different kettle of fish.
Melbourne +72.5 @ $1.91
Richmond V Collingwood - MCG - Sunday Afternoon
Collingwood are a solid team. Richmond are crap. Richmond will be battling for the wooden spoon with Melbourne. Collingwood have the better midfield and the forwards should do the job. Had a good game last week against Brisbane and had a solid win over Fremantle. Richmond beat Carlton in Round 1 and lost to the Kangaroos last week. Beating Carlton is no big deal and I don't rate the Kangaroos.

Brisbane V Sydney - Gabba - Saturday Night
Brisbane are an improved team this year. The forward line with Bradshaw back is starting to look much better than last year. Brown isn't the main go to man now. There is Bradshaw up there and Hendersen and possibly Brennan. Brisbane's midfield is strong. Travis Johnstonne is having a solid season for Brisbane. A player Brisbane needed. He kicks the ball into the forward 50 and sets up a lot of Brisbane's forward plays. If Sydney want to win, they need to shut him down aswell as Black and Adcock and Power who have had solid starts to the season. Sydney had a good win last week over Port and a loss against St.Kilda round 1. If this is a shootout, Brisbane will win. If Sydney choke the game down, it's anyones game. The midfield battles are even. I think Brennan will run with Goodes. The defence's are strong and the attack is strong. Sydney is on the downward spiral and will struggle to make the 8. Brisbane are on the up. Sydney's winning streak against Brisbane ends here tomorrow night in Brisbane.

Bulldogs V Saints - Total score - Even @ $1.95. - The last 5 games have been Even. This will be too.
Kangaroos V Hawthorn - Total score - Odd @ $1.95 - These two teams always play odd matches. The last 3 have been odd.
