I'm really excited about this race... I love the melbourne cup...
Ok so like I have mentioned in other threads I believe the track will play a massive role in tomorrows race... I really dont know what it is gonna be rated... Forecast is for rain but the track manager is confident it will improve to a dead4... I'm gonna wait and suss out the track before i place my bets but here are my early leans...
First of all I dont think So you think will win... I just dont reckon he will run the distance... Also have ruled shocking out because of the weight and barrier...
Ok so if it does rain and the track is heavy (maybe even a slow7) I believe Harris Tweed@ $23 wins... He loves the wet, has a gun barrier and he can run a strong 2 mile race... A dead track will ruin his chances as i believe he wont have the class to beat some of the others...
Shoot Out @ $29... I have been watching this horse closely and i think he will run out the 2 mile very strongly... I'd prefer him on a dead/slow track but I'll have something on him watever the conditions... He needs a fast tempo race to win and will be swooping late...
Once Were Wild@ $31... This horse will lead the race and any horse leading with Jim Cassidy on board cannot be ignored... I thought his last run was good and he can improve over the 3200m...
Other horses I belive have claims and will most likely add to my Trifecta are:
