Hi Guys, and 'no' I'm not in the wrong section, just wanted to post away from the pro hoops forum to minimise unnecessary comments about my thoughts...and hopefully some of the people who venture into this area has some extra ideas on what I have written below...and I know that Rod will pop in at some time
The Under 173 is my main bet due to a safer bet over the 4 Quarters (and also 1st half Under at 86-87) is the go IMO, and these are my reasons:
1. Main reason is like I mentioned in someone's thread about Game 3 in the NBL finals series just finished about 2-3 months ago...this game is the tie breaker (like in tennis). Both teams are locked at 2-2 in the series with 3 games to go, hence the winner of this game has the 'advantage' going into the next game. Pistons win and they simply take the series lead and the home court advantage as the next game is in Detroit. Boston win and 'they' have the home court advantage for the 'rest' of the series, with the added advantage of 'extra' pressure on the Pistons in the next game due to the do or die factor. Why take the Under then...knowing that this, of all the games, is the 'most' significant of them all at this stage of the series, then both sides will focus on their No.1 asset...defence, defence, defence.
2. This game is similar (as much as it can be) to the same NBL series mentioned above. From memory the total was set at 190-193...end result 175...at least 15 points off the mark, and the season why IMO is for similar factors mentioned above. And while this game total isn't set near Game 3 of the NBL finals series, I still think the game goes Under by appox 10.
3. Only 1 game has gone Over in this series, and that is the only game I believe that will happen during this series as the we get down to the business end.
Those are just my views on tomorrow's game, and of course as usual....serious comments more than welcome.
'If' this comes through (and bear in mind that I'm not as experienced as I am with Aussie Rules due to the ability of understanding the game better and thus find 'easier' to cap), then I will give my thoughts on what 'could' happen in the next game between the Lakers & Spurs

And to add further to the above, fatigue forced the Celtics to place extra emphsis on defence in the Cleve series when as the games got tighter at the business end,and thus they started to throw up more bricks also on the offensive end...

Don't get me started.......... this is why Rob doesn't post to often in hoops and why many of the legitimate cappers have left covers. To many loud mouth, opinionated fools that think they are god take credit for their 'system' when they win and blame others when they lose.
Thankfully none of the Aussie's (and honourary Aussies) aren't like that

I take it then you'll definately be on the under in game 7 then
If this goes to Game 7 I would only be on the Under for the 1st half because if this game looks like 'any chance' of being a blow out... well then IMO this means open door on the scoring could happen in the second half and stuff up the Under for the total game...

I try and make sure I'm too drunk to be able to bet the NBA. I've found it helps.
I will try that!
I got my Boston 2nd Half bet in with 15 seconds left on the clock. Didn't know I cut it that close. I wished I had farted or something and had those 15 seconds go by.....yeesh...
