I seriously doubt any one player would / could attempt to "throw" a match, especially a wicket keeper in a test match. You'd need quite a few players in on a fix like that.
Where I think individuals can have an influence is on the myriad of "spread" betting options they seem to have on the sub continent. A missed chance here or there could certainly help player 'x' score over a certain amount or outscore player 'y'
