square play but let's be honest, Hawthorn's rucks will get manhandled all day long by Sandilands and then Clark is one of the most athletic big men in the game so his run will ensure Sandilands gets as many minutes forward as possible.
I believe Fremantle's forward line will be more productive, they not only hit the scoreboard but their pressure and second efforts will make sure the likes of Smith, Guerra and Birchall are forced to hurry every single possession.
Forward line favors Hawthorn on paper (Roughead, Breust, Franklin, Rioli, Gunston, Hale) but Pavlich is showing some serious form in recent weeks, if he can kick 3 goals but do the usual bash and crash, we will see Mayne get one on one duels with Gibson and that would be perfect for Fremantle given Pearce, Ballantyne and Walters all work in complete tandem.
Don't get me wrong, Hawthorn have been terrific all year long and I know they are hurting from last year but they up against a well drilled manic outfit who quite simply have players who do more when games are close than what Hawthorn's do and they will win this game by 2 goals thanks to Ross Lyon's suffocating game style.
