What a rare quality these guys are showing right now by playing on despite the horrible situation their club is in and they as individuals are in from a financial standpoint.
For those who didn't already admire the hell out of Jason Smith, have a listen to him and read some of his quotes over the past few days.
This guy was left a long way out of pocket when the Kings collapsed, and despite facing a similar situation now with the spirit, all he asks is that the team be allowed to stay on court and the fans come out to watch them play.
"All the time I'm getting phone calls about this group and that group, I don't care, I'm a basketball player and I'm here to play basketball and if people want to see good basketball they'll come and watch us."
Here's hoping Jason Smith and his young group continue to live up to their moniker for the rest of the season because they deserve plenty of credit for battling on the way they are.
