Them the rules, can&#x27;t blame the Tigers for going after Ere.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Don&#x27;t think this season is a forgone conclusion anyone with a few teams having significant upgrades to their roster during the offseason. Also one can not ignore the loss of Dave Thomas for the Tigers &#x2B; an ageing Tigers team.

Also one can not ignore the loss of Dave Thomas for the Tigers &#x2B; an ageing Tigers team.&#xD;&#xA;[/Quote]&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;the rules are a salary cap of $810,000 (although I&#x27;m not sure if that figure has been bumped up slightly for this season), and unless the Tigers bought the "generic brand" Ebi Ere, Chris Anstey, Sam Mckinnon, David Barlow and Rod Grizzard (plus the support cast) there&#x27;s no way in this world the Tigers have been able to stockpile that list of talent under the allowed cap. &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;maybe the NBL&#x27;s auditors are missing the zero buttons on their calculators, or maybe they&#x27;re just turing a blind eye.

most teams have improved by adding veterans and dropping youngsters. Melbourne look impressive on paper but how likely is Mckinnon to play many games? he is injured more often than not. That said even without him the lineup looks pretty daunting.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Perth have added Ben Knight and swapped their point guard for Darnell Hinson. Huge line up, plus with Caphorn back playing, decent guards.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Expect Goorjian to get Souths in the mix&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Adelaide also appear to have potential to me if Brett Maher stays fit.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;i,m pretty sure i have heard it said that they don&#x27;t enforce the salary cap they use the player points system.
