NAB - Swans vs Blues

Question

Okay I need an explanation for two things here;

1) Why is Judd listed as playing. He gets banned three games for the regular season but gets to play in the NAB cup. I am not suggesting he should cop the penalty in meaningless NAB cup games but this rule should be look at. Same thing with Buddy playing for the Hawks vs Tigers last week.

2) So much has been made about the Swans having a go at the NAB cup. If that is so why are they so many Rookies who are unlikely to get a game in the team. The Swans are missing a lot of regulars.

Swans, my team will likely lose tonight. The only saving grace for them in my opinion is that the Blues rookies are worse than the Swans Rookies. The game being played at Blacktown will not be factor for either team.

Currie and Pyke are no good as Bolar says. They probably 4th and 3rd on the rucking list.

There are also a number of players that would be questionable as best 22nd and players that definitely will not be there come round 1; Moore, O'Dwyer, Pyke, Heath, Gilchrist, Jetta, Currie, TDL, Bird.

I am also not clear about the Swans forward line in this game, TDL, Goodes with perhaps Bolton, McVeigh and Bird. That makes 2 areas of concern.

btw guys something else to keep in mind. I would expect even if the Swans are going with their usual play first half then rest the second half as they have in previous years with their seniors that they will rest a number of players such as Goodes, Kirk and possibly Mattner, the old brigade.

An Avalanche of overwhelming opinion.The way I like it .The teams that typically care little for the whatever cup are the teams that more often than not win the thing..The teams that try too win it almost always fail..That`s just one of the reasons I like them..Rarely do I back the Swans...This is as close to hens teeth as you`re gonna get with me and those sweet looking,yet fuckin` aggresive birds..

That holds true to some degree AB..But football in all aspects of the word in this country is one big corporate chess board..The people running these sports are sales people and strategic analysts.If there were only one football in this country then it would be a bland product run by muppets that have no competition to hold them accountable and continue to improve their sport.Much like many parts of the world in regards to soccer. We have a small population but a big appetite for sport and I see all these contrasting codes of football to be only good for each individual codes ..Me ramble on but thats my bit and I ain`t no Alan "fuckme" Jones...So say as you will...
