Easily the worst import the league has seen....
I have never mentioned this, i just remembered the other day.....
A number of yrs ago, i think about 4-5, the TAB used to offer bets on individuals scoring over under.......i remember distinctly having 2 bets.......one was Mark Bradtke over 16.5 or something like that against the Kings and another one on mathew Burston over 14.5 or something like that........
The Bradkte bet won, but i mostly remember the Burston.......That sticks in my mind the most........Why....?
Burston at the time was playing for the Wildcats......this game was televised live on Fox sports.......
Burston in the first qtr scored quick 4 points.......
Then went scoreless for the rest of the game.........during the game, early in the 2nd qtr, the Wildcats took a timeout and what i heard the coach say i will never forget.......
The Wildcats coach for the majority of the timeout was blasting Burston for NOT taking shots......he repeated it 4-5 times and using the words they are your shots why arent u taking them, he even said we are designing these for you yet you arent taking them. I could only see the side of Burstons face, but he had no expression on his face, he looked motionless........indeed they set it up for him about 4-5 times and he just wouldnt take them............
The TAB stopped offering that market after that game.......
