Wollongong covered a few games early by playing hard to the final siren. That seemed to have disappeared in NZ where a five point half time lead turned into a 21 point loss on Thursday. When NZ played some defence in the second half the hawks struggled. Kavossey and Reyes did not look to have their heart in it to me.
After playing in NZ Thursday they have to make it to Perth to play saturday night, which i think would take around 8 hours if you went direct. This is also a revenge game for NZ as Wollongong smacked them by 21 when they played earlier in the season, when perth were healthy favourites.
Perth handled Brisbane for three quarters then let brisbane go on a 15-2 run at the start of the fourth quarter and didn't recover. The new import seems to be getting better, and is close to being half as good as they player they sacked.
Based on the above i see this as a disaster waiting to happen for wollongong and am willing to take the silly line of -12.5.

Souths went to powder in the second half last night scoring 31 and getting smashed. Hendrix made Horvath look an offensive juggernaut scoring 3 points. Apart from Burston they all struggled. Neither Martin nor mr jingles were running the point effectively.
Can they turn this around in one day? Gold Coast are one best defensive teams were adelaide rate one of the worst so maybe they can, but i am betting against it. Adelaide played well in Singapore without Maher, hopefully they play well again tonight.

Singapore are fresh off a touch up from a Phillipines team who didn't have many players over 6 foot. The reports seem to suggest they are allowed to add Phillipines players, as locals so should maybe consider taking the whole team They supposedly have invited some players to try out. I think it would be much more interesting if the whole team was players from the asian region plus imports.
Townsville after a poor start have won 4 from their last 6, only losing to Sydney and Melbourne away. On the edge of the top 8 and needing a win to stay in touch you would expect they will show up to play. Singapore stuck with NZ, but NZ did not come to play. Singapore have been smashed in their other 3 away games.
Cairns v NZ under 193.5 1unit
I can see how you could expect some points to be scored in this one with additional Cairns firepower and NZ racking up some high scores in recent game. However, my numbers say the total is way to high and I am going with my numbers.
Early call I know, but doesn't look good.
