Have read McMahon is not playing so Vixens will either run two second string shooters or one plus the out of form thwaites. Circle defense is arguably Pulse's strong point with Grant and Abwaze.
Nash who got injured in the first quarter last week is out as well. This means Vixens may only play three of their best seven.
They have lost 7 in a row only one of these was a single digit margin. Over this stretch they have averaged 44 goals.
Last year when they were slaying everyone their results in NZ were a 4 goal win over the Steel and a 7 goal loss to the Magic.
There is a high chance the Pulse will choke if they are leading. They were neck and neck with the Magic last week only to implode late and lose by 6. That said I see a value in the ML and line.
One other factor that may benefit the Pulse is that the match is being played where they train not their usual match venue.
Unfamiliar combos should keep Vixens in the 40's and Pulse are a decent chance to go to powder in the fourth making under look attractive to me.
