New to Betting

Question

I&#x27;m looking for some pointers when betting on sports besides football, I&#x27;m new to betting overall. I started last football season, completely blew almost $1000 in the first four or five weeks of the season and quit. I then looked up how professionals do it and started again this season. I stopped being stupid and betting 50% of my total bankroll, stopped betting on every single game and have generally looked at this more like a business then an thrill ride and in the first 12 weeks of the season I&#x27;ve tripled what I started with. Maybe it&#x27;s beginners luck but the truth is I know my football and can be good if i don&#x27;t get caught up in emotion. However, with only 5 weeks left I&#x27;m looking at making this a full-time gig. Can anybody give advice on how to play NBA, NHL, MLB or anything else? This seems like the spot for the folks who&#x27;ve been doing this a long time.

My situation is similar to yours.  I like the action, but have never really had anyone explain much to me.  I have had to read on the internet, etc. for info.  &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;I found a site where advertisers pay for your gambling. just make sure you make all your plays for the same amount and stay away from gimics and parlays. its a grind week by week. you will not get rich quick just plug away slow it adds up trust me and good luck you guys. i was there and you will learn alot from this site just pay attention people on here are pretty good at this stuff i did

Thanks for the responses, i&#x27;m still learning but so far this looks like a way to replace my job.  Kinda like day-trading for sports. You win some, you lose some but as long as the overall net is positive you just keep plugging along, thanks much.
